I always use trim adhesive when installing a head gasket.

No one will ever know what I use to assemble my engine.
Whenever I work on it I have 7 armed guards around the perimeter and the building is lead lined so there can be no video signals emitted.
The B flathead engine uses a copper gasket, has a modified Dan Price aluminum head with 11 to 1 compression and burns E85 for fuel. It made 168 hp on the dyno when it was first assembled in 2002. Several people on this forum saw it run for the first time at the Riverside national MAFCA hill climb in 2002.

The engine has 11K street miles on it now and has never been apart.
These engines came from the factory and ran for up to 90K miles without any head gasket problems.
So, the point being, why all the problems now???
Somebody must be doing something wrong?
