Default 34 Standard Coupe Taillights

I have a 34 Ford Standard 5 Window Coupe and I have a question concerning the taillights. The coupe is a rumble seat car and has two taillights. Researching the characteristics of a Standard Coupe only indicates one taillight. My question, because my car has a rumble seat did, they installed the second taillight for the step for the rumble seat?
Thank you for your time and efforts,
Mike

The rumble seat option for '33-'34 coupes included two steps to assist entry and exit from the rumble seat. One of the those was incorporated into the second tail lamp bracket which served as the base for the first step pad. The second step was the pad located on top of the rear fender.

I understand '33 coupes had two taillights whether standard or deluxe.

Is that correct? Thank you.

No, as with the '34 coupes they were factory equipped with two if they were one of the following: a deluxe model with or without a rumble seat, a standard model with a rumble seat, or any sold in a political jurisdiction where two tail lamps were required. A second tail lamp could also be installed on a standard coupe without a rumble seat by a dealer post production at extra cost.
