Default front wheel seals 1932

On removing front drums, I find no rubber and steel seal for the inner bearing, only a steel flange that is pressed on the spindle. Is there a conventional type seal that could seal the grease in the bearing? 1932 Ford pickup B model. Pete

What you encountered is all there was. Conventional type front wheel bearing grease seals did not make an appearance until the 1935 model year.

There is a chart that shows seal sizes that are produced. I've got an old National Seal book that includes this...

Some auto parts stores may have this feature. First you get to figure out how to find a good surface on the spindle to seal on, then make sure that the inside of the hub will carry the seal in that position (in and out ways).

Then measure with a mic the spindle, and inside the drum. Seal thickness is also a consideration, the part in the drum- if you get this, you can contact me, but try your old time parts store first.
