Yes, they are. They're called windwing mirrors...maybe originally intended for Model A's. Looks like Amazon sells them for about $33. I have one on the right side of my '47 and it's a life saver for left to right lane changes for me!!

I've got "peep: mirrors on both doors and can see fine from both. Mirrors are probably from the 50's.
