Looks like something that was on my '57 TBird (40 years ago). Try asking on the late forum and don't take my word for it.

Charlie is right the same lock is on my Dads 57 panel truck. They are door locks............ Larry

Unless he has the key that goes with it, it's not of much use. Would probably cost more to have a key made tha it's worth.

The lock itself looks very similar to 57 cars and t-birds,but the square shank I don't recognize.

Chuck,
You would be surprised how quick a good locksmith could cut a key for that
door lock. The tumbler should have a number on it which translates to a form and
voila he cuts the key to the form.
