Unhappy A Good Guy

Sad News …

I first met Jim
in 2009 when transported
“ Simple T “ from his shop
on Gasoline Alley in
Indianapolis and hauled
it to an FBI agent
in California …

Jim always wanted to get
Simple T back ….

Followed him on FB - lately he
was enjoying not so healthy food
so I have a feeling he knew time
was limited.

A Good Guy ….

Jim

He was such a great technical mind as far as his knowledge of the Ford Flathead V8. I hope he realized before he left us how much he helped all of us. His comments on this board pointed me in a lot of different directions as far as my car.
Rest well, Jim. You did good

I can offer my condolences to the family and friends of Jim "Bubba " Linder. Jim was way ahead of the curve by converting Chevrolet distributors to fit the flathead Ford engines. Charlie Schwendler has picked up the ball from " Bubba " himself. Jim, we miss you and your knowledge. Since Charlie is banned from the Ford Barn, I put this up on Charlie's behalf.

He was a gem. His work was impeccable. I would send him used distributors and he would send me a rebuilt for every four I sent him. Still have one left. He did a V12 Lincoln converted to V8 that is 12 volt negative ground going in a project I am working on right now. We lost a great one. Rest in peace.

Betsy Jo, condolences to you and your family. I didn't know Bubba, but Ziggsters link brought him to me. I tried his spark plug test as a teenager...landed on the garage wall. Ha Ha!
RIP Bubba. JPL
