I understand its "ford" barn
So, found another barn find...But its a Chevy, 1931 coach. So trying to school myself on this find... Can't seem to locate a forum like this one for Chevrolets. Anyone here with knowledge on this gem? Are parts available, What are the values on these?

If you like vintage Chevrolet, nothing better than the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America. They have a pretty active forum over there.

Re: I understand its "ford" barn
I'd put a flathead in it to get back at all those people putting sbc's in our Fords.

Re: I understand its "ford" barn
4dFord/SC brings up a real concern. The body on that car is wood framed, then covered with the sheet metal. If the wood is rotten then restoring the body becomes an involved wood working project. If the wood is in good shape, then the car is in much better shape than most. I'm not saying don't get the car, just be careful.

Re: I understand its "ford" barn
I have a 30 Chevy coach (2 dr sedan) in my Hobby Shop I am restoring for a friend. We have 33k in parts so far. Very complicated body to assemble with new wood. Stick with old Fords, they are more fun.

Re: I understand its "ford" barn
Burn the wood and steel the metal for scrap to make repro parts for Fords. Seriously though, I like Chevs since they make old Fords look so much better. LOLl
