Rusted clutch adjuster need help
I bought a modern clutch adjuster and trunion but the old one is rusted tight. I've tried heating and penetrating oil, but so far it won't budge. The only thing I haven't tried that helped in removing water pump studs is heating, then cooling rapidly. Suggestions?

Re: Rusted clutch adjuster need help
Well....! The key thing was to post on this forum. I used a some liquid wrench and put the clevis in a 3/4" socket and rocked it back and forth with the long socket wrench handle. I discovered that the new trunion was slightly larger, so I had to take a bit off the circumference so it would move easily in the clevis attached to the clutch pedal.
