It is original paint "maroon".

Just finished my '29. Surprisingly to me, the interior was one of the more fun parts of the resto.

What's fascinating to me is the pin striping and the two-tone paint scheme. It gives you good direction when you're ready to paint the car, if you wish to duplicate the original paint scheme.
Good luck. It looks like it will be a fun project.
