Default Correct paint color for gravel shield

Are all the gravel shields on 1957 Fords (mine is a Country Sedan) painted the same color? Mine appears to have been gray, although the car is red and white. Is there a name or a code for it? Also it appears the air cleaner is the same color. Is that correct?

If it matters... the gravel shield (behind the grille) on '57 T-birds is black.

Ok, the gravel shield between the bumper and grille... Thanks.

On a '57 Bird those pieces are much smaller, only at the outer corners and body color.
So not 'all' the '57 Ford gravel shields, if that matters.

I used the VHT paint on my splash panel and it looks great. The underside I did in POR15.
