2205 French Flatty Noisy PCV: Can I fix it? Plus stubborn stud removal!
Hello welcome to this week's video from Mart's Garage. When I built this French Flatty I tried a very simple PCV installation. But it is noisy. I think it is because it is mounted vertically.
In part 1 watch and find out if simply adding a 90 degree elbow to let it sit horizontally will quieten down. In part 2 I tackle a stubborn exhaust stud. Will it come out by welding? Or will it need drilling? Will I break a tap? Who knows? Who cares? It's all going on at Mart's garage. Thanks for tuning in, take care and I'll catch you next time. Mart. Thanks Mart enjoyed as usual. Do you think the knock is a piston slap or? I couldn't really hear the knock (not surprising!!!) on the video is it half engine speed or full engine speed?
