Having had over 20 inches of rain here in Southeastern NC this week, I had been thinking of looking at the forecast but had not done it yet. That is not too encouraging.... I was sort of hoping to dry out a little bit after this week here. Hopefully it will change before Tuesday.

I am in Heshey now, there is rain but not too heavy. Drove all the way from Tennessee today, no problem. Rain is to be gone tomorrow. Planning on going to Carlisle tomorrow.

Good luck to all those attending. Us guys on the west coast don't get back there all that often or all that easy. I hope the weather hold for y'all.

Live from Hershey,

Rain is gone wind has dried most of the water up. 60 degrees outside with clouds mayby a few sprinkles headed to Carlisle this morning.

And to answer your question we did not bring a Model A, pulled the fifth wheel up. Jess and Mark are bringing a trailer load of Model A parts with two cars for Hershey. Spaces ODA-1-3.

Come get this stuff its not a mobile museum its really for sale.

Well Bob [roadster62] You are not alone neighbor. Flooding all around me but not at my house! I am at the highest peak of Putnam County. 1/4 + mile up. The Statue of Liberty would be doing back strokes up the Hudson River before i get my feet wet. Only one problem is winter ..Ice and snow .Still looking like rain all week for Hershey. Saturday looking good. but the show cars are still on the grass fields. How did that happen

Last year it was beautiful Hershey except Friday [ very windy] Saturday morning early rain then a fine mist till 10:00 , then it stopped {10:30} just in time for the car show.Day turned out very nice. The old Hershey in the grass /mud fields was a nightmare. I have been thru 3 feet of water at Hershey[Blue field/red field] where all the roller costers are now , a dry dusty field [where the water truck came thru to wet the walk ways ] and 1 morning lite snow with frezzing my ass off in the van [good old camp out days]. I Would not miss any of it .Every year its a chance you take.

The old days of the Blue Field were the best IMO(1970's)but I've never had a bad Hershey. I've arrived on the field with money to burn and a few years with just the reseve gas money to get home, but always had a good time, good or bad weather.

A lot of them leave on Friday, but I've gotten some of my best bargains on Saturday morning. The last time I was there it was raining on Saturday and hardly anyone opened up, but I found a mint rechromed original front and rear bumper for 1928-9 for under $100. I bought the front, but wasn't thinking straight and left the rear pair.

Good to see the weather forecast seems to be improving. Some of the vendors, including me, will not be open on Saturday. I will be busy judging, others will be judging or have a car in the meet, which makes vending on Saturday impossible. It now looks like Wednesday-Friday will be decent weather for the swap meet and Saturday's forecast looks great for the showfield.
