Default Pendine Prep 10. Oil pan baffle and repair. Bottom end button up!

Hello and welcome to Mart's Garage. In today's video update I make a handy little bracket to help in designing and making an oil pan baffle. I also identify a problem with the pan itself and go about fixing it.
I hope you find it interesting, it's another step in the right direction in getting the car ready for racing on the beach at Pendine.

Thanks Mart, really digging what happens in your shed.

A couple of years ago I came across a boring bar and took a pass. What a dipsh_t!

Mart, I am working on a36 engine for my 34 with some improvements. One is a later pan, a 46-8 with a factory port for the oil filter return. This pan has a flat pill, about one eighth in by one on the inside of the pan and dumps oil down. It does not have a baffle and the other 46 up pans I have do not have baffles. I am using a late oil pump with helical gears, pressure regulator and a pick up made for the pan. I am wondering about your baffle, is is really a improvement?
