Default 1932 Ford 5 window front floor boards

Does anyone know a place to get full size patterns to cut new front toe board and floor board from? Does a four door sedan use the same front floor board pieces as the 5 window coupe?

Not really the right forum section but if anyone has one or both of the wood pieces that I am looking for as patterns or good enough to use I would be interested in talk to them.

Thanks
Don

The shape and the top is not the problem. There is a whole lot of work to make the bottom. Many years ago, drawings were published in The V8 Times. I have them but I don't know if I could find them. Maybe the big two volume set has the plans. I extend the toe board out to the cowl metal to seal better.

There is one guy with a reputation of making excellent floor boards I think it is Roy Nacewitz. This might make interesting reading: https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showt...ds#post1195536

My recollection is that you could make a set of Model A floorboards with a saw but you need a mill to make the '32 floorboards. I decided it was cheaper to buy them and did so many years ago. Remember there were a couple of small changes during the year. I am sure they are covered in "The 1932 Ford Book" from the Early Ford V8 Club.

There are no floorboard patterns in the book, only reference to the changes that took place during the model year. The 8 1/2 x 11 book format does not lend itself to providing legible drawings for parts the size of the floorboards.

After a brief interruption of supply, Roy Nacewicz will be offering his floorboards again in the near future. They will be the right thickness and fit like they should, just like those he supplied previously.

All North American-manufactured passenger car bodies used the same front floorboards at any point in time during the '32 model year, except deluxe coupes where there is a slight variation in the reliefs on the underside of the #2 board.
