Post MARC National Meet - Weather Forecast

Just in case you are interested, here's the latest NWS forecast for French Lick. Looks like I'll be needing the 3-45 air conditioning and Rain-X on my drive down.

French Lick Forecast

Looking forward to the 2010 Meet!

Oh, oh. It's times like these that open cars are highly over-rated.

Looks like I'll be carrying extra towels in the cockpit.

Just received this "partial" email from the Committee:

It is early summer in Southern Indiana and road construction is not uncommon. Therefore, if you are coming to French Lick from the South, be advised that State Road 145 is scheduled for paving (you might expect some paving debris) during the Meet from ¼ mile from the hotel entrance to South 14 miles at Eckerty, Indiana. S.R. 145 will be open with flagman controlling traffic. The Thursday Mandatory Tour route is being revised to avoid State Road 145.

All the Best,

2010 French Lick National Committee

National Meet swap meet is always very high quality and usually priced accordingly.
my experience has been that the meets in the Great Lakes area have the biggest and best swap meets.

I've only been to 6 national meets, but I think the Madison meet had the best swap. I always find something I need at all of them and as stated it's the best place to find quality Model A parts. An added plus is it's all Model A, so you don't have to search through a lot of brand X or garage sale junk to find Model A parts.

The aol.com long range forecast shows possible heavy thunderstorms Sat/Sun with warm humid temps about 90. The early week calls for mostly sunny days with temps cooling in the low 80's with nights around 62. Seems promising.
