How do I prime a model A oil pump already installed in the engine?

Re: priming an oil pump
I have never primed the oil pump after reinstalling oil pan.

Re: priming an oil pump
If it is in the oil it is already primed. If you want to circulate oil before starting crank a few revolutions before choking and starting.

Re: priming an oil pump
you guys are right, the Model A and model B oil pump sits in the oil priming itself. The v8 oil pump does not sit in the oil because the filter canister is screwed together.
