Default I've had enough......

of this long cold winter. So I charged the battery, added fresh gas, checked the oil, and drove for 10 miles. Nice to be back, hope it doesn't snow.....

Also, thinking of getting a new place to live, can be towed with an A, and you can order Surge brakes or Electrical brakes with all these trailers.

Who manufactures those trailers. Sure look like they'd look nice behind an A.

I couldn't stand it any longer, either. Yesterday it was sunny, in the 40's and the roads were dry.
I turned the gas on, flipped the battery cutoff, hit the starter and it cranked over about 5 rev. and started right up, so I also went on a nice 10 mile drive.
Really clears your head (or maybe it was fumes)
Glad I went yesterday - today it's 35-40 mph winds and winter storm warning for 3-5 inches tonight.
So much for Spring !

Jim, I like your car's look. I usually don't like anything smaller on an A than 19" rims, but that comination really looks good. Those arent 16" are they? What size tire are those?

During the 40's, Chief bought a trailer that looked very much like that. It was very handy for SO many uses, we slept in it many times when traveling the Old Route 66! Each trip was like an "ADVENTURE"! The Dog slept in the car, with one door opened slightly, as the Security Dude! Bulger was a MEAN watch dog, father was a retired German Police, State Prison security dog & his mother was a Rat Terrier! (Yes, I wonder about that, too????) Bill W.

Always good to hit the road in the Spring. We went on a nice tour to the Ironstone Winery in Murphys, CA with the Spark 'n As chapter. What a great day.

Spring??? Hasn't happened here. We've got 5' of snow out in the fields yet and the warmest day has been 34 degrees. I am jealous of you guys cruising around in your A already. Started mine the other day in the garage with the door open...couldn't stand it anymore so had to at least sit in it with the motor running.

Yes, the trailers are really neat. They are made by "Little Guy Teardrop Camper/Trailer in Massillon, Ohio". They also have a web site, "www.golittleguy.com". Like everything else thats nice, they start off at $11k and go up to $17k!

Thanks for the complements on the car, but I'm sure yours are nicer. Its just a driver that goes like I stole it, and I love it. The interior is old and shabby, and it could use paint all around, but in my opinion, it would ruin it!

The wheels are 16", and the tires are Firestone LE All Season 225 75R16, and are readily available at any dealer at around $125 apiece. They stand 31.7" tall, so are close to a regular 19" tire. I run them tubeless on newly powder coated wheels without a problem.

And yes, with the B engine, and the F150 Overdrive, it will run 75 MPH, but is more comfortable at 65.... (2200 RPM with the 3:54's)

Jim, I did the same yesterday. Fired her up and placed a towel over the rad to heat the engine up by restricting the air flow. Once nice and warm, took off around the block several times. Plenty of snow east of Toronto, over 2' in the front yard. By the way, she stops on a dime thanks to your brake work.

Hey Dave,

My A's are still in the Garage Mahal' waiting for the first drive.

They stop on on dime too, thanks to Jim Parker's brake work. It is a good thing, since he was ahead of me in "Big Blue" at the Oshkosh MARC mandatory tour.
