Default Dual carbs

Stupid question.
How do you get the back bolt out? Is there a special wrench or what have others done??

It's the front carb on an Almquist manifold.

Paul:

Which back bolt are you referring to? The one center mounting stud under the carb? If so, just a box wrench will do the job.

You're probably trying to avoid taking off both carbs to get to the one nut. I have the same scenario. There's just no avoiding it.

On Stromberg's it easier to just remove the three screws hold the bodies to the base. Thus leaving the throttle plate base on the intake. Now if you need to remove the base you can easily get to the mounting hardware.
