Transmission Fluid level
With my floor board out to clean my battery and ground frame connection, I figured I'd check the level of the transmission fluid, which I drain and refilled about 1 year ago... I was happy to see it was just about to the top were I left it... Now aside from an obvious leak which one could see, which I'm not, might the fluid go/leak (aside from being distributed on all of the transmission's parts)?
My thinking is: "is there a way for the fluid to leak from the transmission leak to internally to the drive shaft or forward towards the engine without a clear drip showing itself"?

Re: Transmission Fluid level
With original style bearings either can leak. Its normal for the oil to go thru the rear bearing and lube the u-joint.

My '05 Dakota uses transmission fluid in its 6 speed manual transmission, but that's a modern transmission.
