What is the purpose of.......
the felt packing inside the original dovetails on my '31 coupe? The dovetails are in really good shape but the felt inside is somewhat deteriorated. There is a hole on either side of the wedge as if it were to be oiled (maybe?). <table><tr><td><font face="arial"> |

Oil
The felt is an oil soakerupper as far as I know. Assume you're talking about the door guides. Best luck, JIm <table><tr><td><font face="arial"> |

Town Sedan Also
I was wondering the same thing, I had felt in the dovetails to my 30 TS. I also have the hole but do not understand why they would need to be oiled...??? <table><tr><td><font face="arial"> |
