AA rear end worm gear .
I have a NOS brass/ bronze worm gear with 29 teeth is this high or low ratio ??? .Thanks .

That would be a low speed. High speed has 31teeth .
I've always thought that one of the low speed ring gears would make for a neat looking clock. So far every one I've run across has been a high speed so no clocks for me yet.
