Default led tail lights stopped working

I tried to search the forum for an answer, but was not successful. I recently put led rear lights on my roadster and have been very pleased with the results. Today, a puzzle...

The tail circuit has stopped working. No lights. These are 6 volt units on positive ground system. Both sides no longer light, but the license plate circuit is still working, so I know power is reaching the lamps through the wire harness. The brake circuit still works. I need to find the schematic for these lights, since it appears from looking through the clear resin that most of the components are resistors and leds. there is one diode. If there was a surge at one time, the lights would have had to be on to blow the diode.

Does anyone know the manufacturer of these lights?

Frank

You nailed it. Their part number is on the back of the lens. It seems these lights have a six month guarantee from the date of purchase from the vendor. I need to talk to a guy named Jesus in the sales department. I left a voicemail and await his reply. I'll keep you posted.

Good news. United Pacific does make the led lights. Thanks to CarlG. Their part number is on the back of the lens. Even though I bought the lights in October in hershey, I told them I installed them in April after the snow left. They said it was not a problem, gave me an RMA number and they will replace them, no charge. How's that for service? Good company...

The model A electrical system is a nightmare for electronics. Its a good idea to put a power conditioner in-line with any electronics. Reduces the spikes and ac hash.

United Pacific is a good company, located in Long Beach, CA.

I have their LED tail lights and never had a problem. I also have a pair of their Chrome 5" rear view mirrors on my Town Sedan. Make a big difference over the 4" mirrors for backing up.
