Christchurch NZ Earthquake
Christchurch city which was due to host Model Aer's on our Model A National Rally in April, was hit by another devastating 6.3 earthquake this afternoon with major damage , and from reports some loss of life. Several 'Barners' live there so our thoughts are with them during this terrifying time.

Re: Christchurch NZ Earthquake
Having gone through a 7.1 earthquake in the bay area in 1989 I know how scary and what the aftermath brings. Stay safe you Model A folks and all the rest who live there are in our thoughts and prayers.

Re: Christchurch NZ Earthquake
That one was a very severe Quake and so were the after shocks. I was reading some of the horrible first hand stories about it.
My prayers are with you all! In my reading I found it interesting that there was a similar Quake there in 1931, the last year of the A.
