Lightbulb Oil filler/breather tube tip.

Remove the dipstick before filling the motor with oil.

I am well aware that seasoned "A" drivers will know this but to a newby with a flat head engine this may useful

This allows the air to escape and not blow a bubble of oil out of the filler pipe and all over the motor and water pipe.

Are there other small tips that almost cost nothing but are a need to now.

Thanks for the tip. Too late for me, but thanks just the same.

Third oil change, first time for the bubble. Very messy.
