Default Back rest boards

On my 29 CCPU the back rest boards at the bottom that attach to the seat riser (are they riveted on or screwed on.

I will have to check, they are nut and bolted, I think it is 1/4-20.

Mine are screwed on with 1/4 bolts also, although I believe the wood has been replaced as some point.
