Default Morning Coffee Safety Lesson

On my A.M. walk to Dunkin' Donuts I came across this. I went back for my camera.
Check out:
Driveway pitch
Front wheel blocking
Full extension stand, leaning back at pitch angle

Some people are bound and determined to hurt themselves no matter what we say. At this point, I hope there is only one sidewalk, and its on the other side of the street.

Yikes! Very scary. Whoever it is must be several cans short of a six-pack. I hope he lives until the next whacky thing he tries.

Years ago I had as clients two bothers who decided to make their vehicle inspection-worthy by welding a crack in the frame. Veterans of a high school welding class, they rented a welding kit, including mask. They failed to notice that there was a large hole in the mask. Brother #1 started the job while brother #2 was at work. Brother #1, quickly (and, happily, temporarily) blinded, was soon at the local ER. Within 15 minutes, Brother #2 arrived home to see an idle welder he had "paid good money for" standing idle. Cussing #1 for "laziness," #2 crawled under the car to finish the job... only to end up in the ER before his brother was discharged.

No permanent injuries.

Car failed inspection, anyway.

True story.

John, dumb cannot be cured. Hope the two brothers enjoyed their time together in the ER!

Car never did pass inspection.

I'm still here. Don't I get to go? Guess I'm not worthy.

If you did get to go and now have a heavenly T1 line and can borrow St. Peter's iPad, please post the winning numbers for the next Lottery and say "hi" to Elvis and Randy "Macho Man" Savage. What did happen to Jimmy Hoffa?

Having been a police officer for 30 decades, I saw way "TOO MANY" deaths caused by this same type of thing. MikeK, your picture brought back many pictures in my mind of some of them. I hope it didn't spoil your coffee and "Donuts". I can still see the grieving families. I can't describe what this type of stupidity did to some of these people on this site.

30 Decades? Try another cup of coffee. Yes, at least we should put a note on the windshield.

LOL, he would be better off backing the car up the drive way, at least that way when it falls it would just mash him some but not run over him, you can cure ignorance but you cant do a thing about stupidty, i wonder if it made it on the t/v program a 1000 ways to die?
