Default 36 Cabriolet uppper hood hinge

Getting close to finishing my restoration. I'm a little confused as to the top hinge. There is an inner rolled flanged riveted to the top on the hood. Is this what is called the "inner hinge"? Does the top chromed hinge with the rolled edges just slide over this and attach to a bracket and the firewall and one on the radiator? Is this then the full top hinge???? So then the movement of the upper portion of the hood is just these two interfaces rotating? Help me, am I confused. Thanks Bruce

You basically have it all figured out. If you compare the length of the top chromed/stainless hinge with the rolled edges to the length of the inner rolled flanged pieces and slip the firewall and radiator end brackets onto each end of the hinge it will probably make more sense.
