Default not car related Walt

One of you guys told once how to make the letters bigger on the puter. Mine have gone small all of a sudden. I think it's just push a button and scroll the wheel but you know what happens when try to think. I'd much rather build a flathead. Thanks Walt

Thanks Bill, That's about as easy as it gets. If it wasn't for the Ford Barn I wouldn't even be on this contraption with all these buttons. LOL Walt

Walt, you can set the default type size larger by going to the Control Panel, Click on "Appearance and Personalization" then click on "Display" and select the size that suits your eyes.

No need to open control panel, Near top of explorer click on 'View' , there you will see two options for text size and zoom size, select accordingly.

Now, Walt, you got as many different answers as you would have gotten if you had asked what type of oil to use. And no wrong answers.

Bob, the device you move with your hand to move the cursor around the screen is the mouse, and most these days have a wheel device in between the two (left and right) buttons.

While holding the control (Ctrl) button with one hand, use your other hand to "scroll" the wheel up or down. This ought to make the screen zoom in (bigger text) or zoom out (smaller text).

If no scroll wheel on the mouse, while holding the Ctrl button down, press (momentarily) the "+" or "-" button. (normally found near the backspace button). This will achieve the same effect.

Mart.
