'41 Brakes
Rebuilding what I thought were '41 Ford, however as I went to adjust the rear brakes they are different then the pictures I have of the 39 - 42 brakes
(see picture below) Mine doesn't have the adjustment bolts on the bottom inside of the backing plate. They are just studs that hold on the bottom of the shoe without eccentric anchor cams. What year are these rear brakes? Last edited by usered; 05-04-2016 at 10:33 AM. Reason: add picture |

They are '46-'48 and look like the one of the left from the outside.

I'm just getting to my 40 brakes with the eccentric adjusters. Are the later brakes the same except for the eccentrics? How is the wear compensated for w/o the lower adjusters or did Ford just eliminate them to simplify the system?
