While at the LeBaron Bonney sight I noticed they have a diffrent listing for seat cushion and back springs, base on indented firewall. Is there any diffrence in the spring set if so what is the diffrence? I may have the wrong parts in my 31 indented firewall steel top 31ccpu thanks Buddy

I have a 31 indented firewall CCPU and the seat riser is not as deep as the seat riser in a standard firewall 31 CCPU. The seat from the standard CCPU will not fit my seat riser. This may be the difference. I just found this out today and have not had chance to do anymore research. My cab is not a Budd hardtop type.

Thanks for the reply can you explain in a little more detail please. I hate to ask but I really need to know this and now we know there is a diffrence thanks Buddy

As with my late 31 indented firewall coupe the seat is different from the earlier 31 and 30 coupes. Only the last 3 months production featured this new seat and riser setup.

I measured along the outside edge of the riser from the front of the riser to the back of the cab. The standard firewall CCPU measured 21 1/4", my indented firewall cab measured 19 1/2".

Does anybody know why the later indented firewall riser was a different dimension form the earlier risers?
