Running board removal ?
I have a newbie question. I am thinking of repainting my fenders and running boards on a 31 ccpu. It looks as if the running boards are pinched between the cab and frame also between the bed and frame. Is this the case? If so How do you remove the boards and fenders? thanks

Re: Running board removal ?
When I removed my running boards, the area you talk about is a pair of "J" shapes that interlock. You just remove all the bolts and lift the running board up and it will come out. Very simple.

Re: Running board removal ?
I'm guessing you are also talking about the splash shields in addition to the running boards. To remove the splash shields, you will need the body to be lifted up.
