We all would like to find prints and patterns, but sadly there are none.

Probably another way to ask this is what would someone actually pay for them?

In my opinion, the only good pattern is a full scale pattern. If I (--or someone else) took the time to digitize them and offer them as a traceable pattern, I doubt anyone would pay for the time it would take to do it.

I have experienced this same thing on the Model-T wooding plans where a gentleman from Arkansas drew up a set of plans for each bodystyle. I think I gave him $35-$45 for a set, and you cannot believe how many people have approached me asking if they could have my plans after I am done, or use mine to make copies for themselves. If someone had all the wood patterns for a Model A body and sold them for $500.00, I doubt you would sell a second set after the first set hit the streets. There likely would be "pirated" copies everywhere. Therefore the reward is not worth the hassle in my view.

Is there no original wood left? Reverse engineer what you can. I'm doing the exact same thing to my 1930 Briggs Town sedan and I have been able to make up from scratch much of the wood Some I had to buy. For certain complicated pieces, it's better to bite the bullet and fork over the cash. The sills and header are probably among those that should be bought. I would recommend Classic Wood in NC. But It isn't cheap.
First find an Ash tree, cutit down and haul a ten foot log to a mill where they will rip it to your specs. I made a diagram of how I wanted it cut, thicknesses and such. Leave 1/4" for planing. The cost was about $35 per a 2' log. If you want to persue this further, send me a PM and I will tell you what you will need and try to help you in other ways to.
