Yes it is the B flywheel housing and it will have a VIN on it. If you replace it with an A flywheel housing you will need to find a B oil pan and remove the spot welds thtat go back from the actual oil pan part of the engine.

Yes, 1932 only. 33-34 did not have the flats on the sides, only a round hole for the anti-chatter rods.

Anti-chatter rods are REALLY IMPORTANT on a Flathead V-8---Just ask ANY owner of such

In English model B production the Dagenham plant continued to stamp the engine block so the flywheel housing was not stamped . Another piece of totally useless information from the long forgotten "Mother Country " !!!

John in cool overcast high pressure on the way Suffolk County England .
