Cam makes noise? Is it suppoise to?

WellI tore it down again for the third time today. Mike and check clearance on valve lift,every thing check out OK.Will talk to cam builder tomorrow to see if he can shed any light on noise of cam.Any of you ever installed a 280 cam?T runs super but the noise I will not stand for.I'm not mad just don't know what is making the noise. I'm missing something its upsets me that I can't find it.Do you think its cam lap, the side of the lobes making the noise? I don't know.Anyway its got the best of me.The old is on his back laughing at me. He knows I don't have any bullets or I would blow his butt off.
