They're still out there waiting to be found!
"Homer" the barn find. They are still out there waiting to be found and brought to their "forever home".
These photos were taken this morning celebrating Homer's homecoming after hiding in a barn for 66 years. Bought in central Texas from the original family owner with 38,000 miles showing on the odometer. Based upon the engine number it is an October 1929 AA and has the newly introduced 4-speed transmission with a high speed rear axle. The only thing missing is an outside sunvisor which can be easily obtained. It still has all the original tools and jack under the seat, along with the usual supply of mouse droppings. A friend in my local Model A Club bought it and has been lusting after my AA for 25 years - he finally found one and it's a "keeper". He plans to clean it up but not restore it - the patina of one like this will make it a showstopper. Lucky find! There are 16 photos posted on my Facebook page of this beauty. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...7731135&type=1
