seat covers
Hi Guys, does anyone have a suggestion on a good place to purchase seat covers (front) for my 30 Tudor? My seats aren't in bad condition but are starting to show some fabric wear and could use some protection, it seems the only off the shelf seat covers I can find are all for modern high back seats with built in head rests, not the short Tudor seat type.

Re: seat covers
Some folks have great fun using vintage, car oriented, TEE shirts for temporary seat protection.
I'm looking for someones collection of such shirts to purchase! I have GREAT fun, wearing all sorts of car stuff tee shirts. I bought a new Model T hat for Vermin's first run. I REFUSE To get OOOOOLD! Bill W.

Re: seat covers
Can your wife sew (if married), or a girlfriend, neighbor lady, tech school near you?? Indian blanket cut to just slip over or stretched and tacked to bottom of seat. Finding ready made for an A doubtful. JMO

The sleeves could be used for map pockets. I was thinking of pillow cases for the seat backs. |

Re: seat covers
Thanx for all your thoughts on my seat covers, I did find some at a Place Called Big LOt's Closeouts, they are for smaller foreign sporty trucks with bucket seats and there not awful but I was still hopeing for an aftermarket product made for smaller bucket or bench style seats. Sure seems like it would be a market with so many cars still around wether they are fords or not.

Re: seat covers
I would try JC Whitney. They used to sell tons of fitted covers for all kinds of seats. I hope they're still in business.

"Still in business?"
When J.C. Whitney goes out of business there will be a North Korean Flag flying over the Capitol Grounds in Washington D.C. |
