Montana Auto Museum
Headed to Deer Lodge for Thanksgiving. On the 10 best list. How long should I plan in order to see the whole collection? Thanks

If you are a golfer, "OLD WORKS" course in Anaconda is a unique experience.
It's the Anaconda Copper Smelter Superfund site that Jack Nicklaus turned into a links golf course. State owned, not expensive, and wonderful. |

Re: Montana Auto Museum
I would probably opt for 3-4 hours since there is a lot more than just cars to see. The whole prison complex, frontier museum, toy museum, and a few others within a couple blocks of the prison. One admission price gets you into them all. Its deffinitly worth checking out!

Re: Montana Auto Museum
Red?... I was assuming in the snow and cold of Anaconda, they would be *BLUE*, but that just reminds me of more off-color golf jokes (hahaha)
Also the Mining Museum in Butte is a good place to visit as well, and there used to be an old pawnshop in the hill years ago that had around 200+ old jukeboxes.. Not sure if they are still there though.. it has been a while since i have visited back there.. Not red, but the sand traps are Black! Made of pulverized slag.
