Default It's a '54, but

I have a 1954 Mercury Repair and Adjustment manual that , on the inner cover, says it belongs to Francis Kels of Johnstown, PA. He bought the book and a '54 Mercury new. It is in good condition and I would like to reunite the book with the car if the car still exists. I know it is a long shot, but stranger things have happened. Any one ever heard of this person??

Thanks!

This is OT, but a similar query... I've got the MOPAR factory service manual that goes with a certain 64 Ford F-100 pickup that has (or had?) a 383 Dodge engine and transmission in it. The pickup/383 was featured in a Hot Rod magazine article, April 1969, page 106-107. I'd also like to re-unite the manual with the vehicle. Thanks...

Cecil,
I googled his name and Johnstown Pa. and it looks like he passed in 2010.
He would have been around 25 then so maybe his first new car?
