Default 30 Coupe Seat Cushion

Anyone know how the 30 coupe seat cover attaches to the seat frame? Is it attached to the seat spring with hog rings or does it stretch over and stapled to the wood frame?

Thanks, Steve

Love the Coupes, sold my 29 to pick it up. I am actually the third owner. It has been repainted in 79 other than that all original. Top, interior etc.. it went to Canada on the first owners honeymoon and spent most its life in Iowa. I worked for the gentleman who I bought it from,it was his uncles car he didnt want to sell it but in the last twenty years they only put 300 plus miles on her. this thing runs like a top. Love yours too! Dave

OK now I am confused, I have a roadster and there is no wood frame on the bottom, the upholstery is hog ringed to the springs. I have been complaining about the cushion being too low. Should my car have a wood frame?

I think it is a different setup in the coupes. Give LB a call if no one on the barn jumps in.

I just did my 30 coupe about a year and a half ago. I bought a kit from Cartouche , both hog rings and nails are used on the seat. Send me a PM with your address and I'll send you a copy of the complete instructions for the upholstery, for your 30 coupe.
