Default Oil leak

I think this is unrelated but I replaced my distributor set screw and all seems fine but I noticed a leak of oil from the back (transmission side) of the oil pan --car was dripping next to no motor oil... The distributor set screw is not or is connected the oil pump or is it? My felling is the totally unrelated to the set screw and was just the back gasket's time..

If you are talking about the set screw in the head, no it is not connected. If you are talking about the plug in the block under the valve cover, yes it is.

Yeah, I suspected as such but given the timing of the start of this leak to replacing the set screw and my 5 weeks of model A experience.... So I guess I have get a oil pan gasket set... So I guess paper or cork?

I wouldn't trust a Model A that didn't leak.
Some may disagree but if you use "the force" many times they go away. Just sayin..

How much oil is dripping?

MikeV. Florida,

OK, after reading this:

http://www.antiqueenginerebuilding.c...RMAINLEAK.html

I took a show video of the leak area... I think it's not the rear seal given the above webpage
