That's the easiest way to build one. Now the real question is, how far off of the $4,800.00 asking price will that chassis actually bring?

Re: Looks like a nice car sacrificed to the hot rod gods!
I have a roadster that needs to be restored. If it was close to me I would consider it as the cost to have my motor rebuilt would be a little over $4,000.00 . With this I could just take my body off the chassis I have and put it on this one and be good to go. would save me thousands of dollars and be ahead of the game.

Re: Looks like a nice car sacrificed to the hot rod gods!
That was actually for sale just north of Dallas a few weeks ago by the person that hot rodded it. I called about the frame and he said he sold it to someone that was going to put a stock body on it and make a quick restoration.
I guess that person lost interest in a couple of weeks. He is asking the same amount it was listed for the first time. The original hot rodder has another coupe that he is not sure what he wants to do with yet. He said he would sell the whole car for $12,500 but may pull the body and save for another hotrod. Here's your chance to save one if you want! (903) 814-1601

Where i live a running chassis often ask twice that much. Nice one too. Get creative, wooden wagon, fibreglass roadster or coupe body on an original chassis has been done, seen it before!

Well, ...while that may be true, THAT particular chassis ain't where you are. Therefore it is priced accordingly. Maybe you could buy it and move it to your location and sell it for a profit?? |

too much money. "the brakes work great" means nothing. I am currently checking over one with "great brakes" that are actually totally shot.

Shipping plus steering wheel is on the wrong side for me.
