Default 650X16 tires on a 1948 Ford Coupe

I have 650X16 tires on my 1948 Ford Coupe and had points deducted when it was last judged as I was told it had to have 600X16 tires. Does anyone know if a buyer could order a Ford with the larger tires?

Whomever the judge was that deducted points for 6:50 tires needs to pick up a book and read. 6:50's were indeed a factory option.

You may want to purchase a copy of the 41-48 Ford book, it helps answer questions like that. It is an accepted source for answering questions during Early Ford V8 Club judging events.
