Thank you Brent! Boy it's easy to criticise! Sometimes I want to cuss him out for some minor infraction, but then when you think of all the things he did right.... Like 4 wheel brakes or shock absorbers. This was a car for the masses that cost slightly over $500, yeah, it has it's limitations, but it was never junk. The guy who's first always pays the price of being a pioneer. They'll learn! Oh yeah' and Henry didn't sit on problems and hope they would go away. Look at many parts of the Mod A and how many changes were made? AR to 28-29 to 30-31 and SW. Smaller wheels, better brakes, he got rid of the power house generator, multi disc clutch, etc. in a little over 4 years. Yeah, Henry was evil, Dude! They shoulda got rid of him a lot sooner, Man! Think of how different our lives would be without him! Henry Ford was one of the best people of the twentieth century!

I'm starting to get paranoid as none on my A's with FAM have any sign of frame sag and none of my hydraulic brake equipped A's are leaking brake fluid. And My transmissions haven't dropped 2". For the record, I do have a dead stock '30 CCPU that I rarely drive. I also have a couple of A frames behind the barn, complete with stock motor mounts and frame sag. In 20+ years of using FAM mounts, I've noticed that the rubber gets rock hard and it takes very little time and effort to install new donuts.

While I have a great deal of admiration for those who chose to keep their A's dead stock, there are countless aftermarket products that were sold through Ford dealers even before the A's were out of production.

Have a question: If you install the FAM how would a chassis cross over brace to keep the chassis from twisting and sagging work out ? has anyone ever done this and if yes how and where did you install the brace ?
