Default Fatman steering arms

Anybody have a pair they want to part with for a shoebox? I'm not interested in buying new from a vendor as i feel they're way overpriced

It's out of control. The last time I bought a pair they were I think $180. I know the price of metal has gone up but $135 more is freakin nuts

Yes, everything is out of control but, truth is, you couldn't make them from scratch for $315.

One of the reasons I retired from the hot rod chassis business. Also did Fatman change ownership?

Sadly, it will reach the point where these specialty parts and other hot rod parts will no longer be made because of the shrinking market and the high manufacturing cost. For example, a new repro. 1940 DeLuxe Ford grille now costs $1300.

Saw a new Drake 40 standard grille on the HAMB for $25/2600. I confess I think I paid $15/1600 from Drake when he had them last year.

Make your own; they certainly are not overly complex and are constructed out of normal materials.

That is what we did back in the day. My little 56 Ford half mile dirt car was chock full of homemade suspension parts. Other racers on this board I’m certain did the same. we couldn't afford the Holman and Moody stuff that was available.
Some of us are still doing it. However, suspension work does take some serious skill sets in planning, geometry, cutting, machining and welding. The last thing any of us would want to do would be to create a piece of equipment that is an accident waiting to happen
