Default Vendor Info.

We hear a lot here on the 'Barn about the vendors we all use. Here's a little story to add to the list. Yesterday, I shipped a clutch disc and pressure plate via FedEx's guaranteed 3 day service to Fort Wayne Clutch and Driveline in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. The receipt says I shipped it at 1:09PM

Today I got a call, at a few minutes until three PM, from Ft. Wayne Clutch telling me that the clutch was rebuilt and ready to ship! I'll have it back tomorrow. 26 hours from time of shipment to completion of work HAS to be some sort of a record. I made no special arrangements for the work nor did I ask for "rush" service. I did include a note with the old clutch stating that I wanted them to rebuild the parts I sent as opposed to pulling a rebuilt unit from stock.

Needless to say, I'm more than pleased. Having used their products before and having never had a problem with them, I went back as a return customer.

I would submit that any company that gives this caliber of customer service in 2013 deserves our business. Just thought everyone should know.

The close proximity may be why they recieved it so fast. I can order something from Dallas and get it in San Antonio the next day by regular UPS.

You were the first to recommend them as I remember. I've had a couple clutches and pressure plates rebuilt by them. Also recommended them to some friends. We have all been extremely happy with their work. Why take chances putting off shore made parts in your car when you can get quality made parts here in the US?
You did good recommending them Ken!
