Re: An Old Ford at Work!
Hi Everyone, Thanks for the heads-up. I like T's and I like trucks, so win-win!

Really enjoyed that video! Beautiful country, gorgeous model T, neat old tractor, and an ancient saw without a hint of safety devices. Thanks for posting.

That was very heart warming. If something works why change it? Nice to see somebody doing something without being in a mad hurry to get it done.
He had those T motors really well set up the way they just popped straight off on the hand crank like that. Good stuff. Mart. |

Re: An Old Ford at Work!
A beautiful tribute to the old gent and fabulous photography. I loved it, but that belt and big saw scared the crap out of me.
My wife's father told me stories about working with that old equipment. He described his job as sawyer. Hard and dangerous work. That beautiful old truck is just as good today as it was back then. I never drove one, and imagine they might have been uncomfortable to ride in, but they got the job done. Look at what they had before that. Wagons and mules. We've got it so much easier today. Easier in some ways, but better? Yeah, probably.

Re: An Old Ford at Work!
Neat video, but very dangerous. When I was younger, I heard of a man who slipped and fell into an open blade like that. His widow was upset.
