Truck Doors
I suspect that the Ford truck doors from 1938 through 1947 are interchangeable. I mean hinges to hinges, dovetails, latches, widows, cab match-up, etc. I know about the subtle difference in the 38 and 39 doors below the window from the others.
Can anyone confirm this or, correct my suspicions? |

Re: Truck Doors
The 38 and 39 have 3 body mold lines and the 47 has only two. I do not know about the other details in terms of being able to interchange them.

Re: Truck Doors
I have a 39 and a 47 pkps. I never even considered wether the doors were interchangeable . You made me go and look and take some measurements .The hinges are spaced the same bottom of bottom to top of top 26 inches .the body ribs are different as stated . I don’t know about the shape of the doors , contours and such. SUNSHINE
