I have a 1980 Pinto with the air conditioning option, however neither the heater or air conditioning works. What is the problem, I don't know. Is there an expert in the Washington State area who might be able to work on this vintage of a vehicle, at a reasonable price? I suspect the problem is with the heater/air conditioning controls at the dash, which are vacuumed operated. If so does any one have these controls to sell?
Are these controls the same as the Mavericks and the Mustangs of this same year?

old vacuum hose do leak alot, first replace all the hose's you can do this yourself, it will not cost much, but will take a few hours of your time.

do this and post the results
