1934 Ford Headlight Stands
Are '34 Ford headlight stands interchangeable from right to left ?
Are the '35-'35 Ford truck headlight stands interchangeable with '34 passenger headlight stands ? Thank you. |

Re: 1934 Ford Headlight Stands
From my experience the pass car 33-34 headlite stands and mounting bolts are the same as 35-37 truck and pickup parts. The horn mounting brackets however are different between the two..

With respect, the head lamp stands for '33-'34 passenger cars are not the same as those for '35-'37 commercial vehicles and trucks. The latter are shorter in height and have different part numbers.

Re: 1934 Ford Headlight Stands
That's interesting that and I always like to know new info. I have about 12 pair and they all seem to be the same height and took many from 33-34 Ford cars. No part numbers noted. Laid on a flat surface, they have a max overall height of approx 2 & 1/2 inches. Some even came with 35up pickup horn brackets attached. I think I have seen a few similar brackets at swap meets that are a little taller but were not IDed. Any info appreciated.

The angle of the fender in relation to the headlight bolt is different as is the shape of the fender. |

Re: 1934 Ford Headlight Stands
If you put the two next to each other, the difference is plain to see; both in left to right and car to later truck.
