Hoping a good New Year to all as well. 2014 marks my final year of my being gainfully employed before retiring in January 2015. Over 40 years working for Uncle Sugar is enough; it's time to go. . .

Work on our retirement home in northern Michigan continues, I hope to get the pole barn built in April, then on to the house additions and remodel.

The '47 Fordor still sits in the barn, awaiting its fate. Looks like if I redo it, it will get a driveline upgrade from the toast (cracked) flattie & 3 spd trans, to a 302/AOD so the wife can drive it. But, it may just end up as yard art at our retirement place, peeking its nose out the door of the old barn basement that sits at the back of the land.

As a retired Chef/musician I have lost count of the NY Eve's that I have worked.
In my household we refer to it as "amateur night".
This year it was spent in the garage fixing a family members daily ride.
Looking to complete my 41 Ford project this year as it has been on the back burner for too long.
Torchie.
